About

Helena Geibel has been a research assistant at the IGdJ since 2024. As part of the online source edition ‘Key Documents on German-Jewish History’, she is responsible for the development and technical implementation of an online exhibition. Prior to this, she studied International Literature and English Language and Literature, as well as German Literature with a specialisation in Digital Humanities, at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. Her bachelor’s thesis examined Feuerbach’s and Freud’s critique of religion, whilst her master’s thesis explored the influences of Romanticism on fantasy literature for children and young adults in the late 20th century. In the field of Digital Humanities, she has focused on front-end web development and Computational Literary Studies.
